Congratulations your baby has arrived!
In caring for our children we often put our needs last, but I encourage all mums to have a massage after their babies are born. A happy mum is a happy household and it feels great to lie on your belly again! Post natal massage can support you in the following ways:
- Relieve achy neck and shoulders associated with carrying and nursing baby.
- Encourage the let down reflex for breastfeeding mums.
- Release tight muscles.
- Improves circulation and vitality.
- Provide emotional calm and hormonal balance.
$75 Postnatal Massage - 60 mins
$40 Postnatal Assessment - 30 mins
$100 Package - Massage & Assessment - 90 mins
(Some health fund rebates apply)
This is a special service and a good way to ensure your post natal recovery is as quick as possible. A weak pelvic floor can lead to problems later on and it is important to repair the deep abdominal muscles before you resume an exercise routine.
Your pelvic floor function, level of abdominal separation and core control can be assessed. Professional advice , simple home exercises and an information sheet will be given. The ½ hour assessment can be taken on its own or added to a post natal massage. Feel free to bring your baby with you if you need to.
